I think that upside down guy was a different upside down guy - didn't have a black mask. That's why I didn't post it!! I didn't want to put it up as you, and you go... "that's not me!" :smiley36:
You can see it better in the higher res version. I'll find it.

That's really cool. What's the deal with the Disney dive? Just show up and you can go? $$$?

I didn't know you could do that. Thanks for the pics!

You need a reservation, I think it was $140 per diver. My daughter and I did this back in Feb. Worth every penny. They provide evgerything including the towel. All you need is a bathing suit. If you have persciption mask you can bring that.

Check it out....

I was looking forward to doing this until I found out you can not dive using your own gear. That did it in for me, I've been diving my own gear for so many years that any rental stuff just puts me off.

i wouldnt suggest you just show up cause they do take reservations and have a limited number of people they will take per day.

it's been three years since my Epcot dive but mine was $140 and i did a search online to find out how to get my spot reserved.

and yes, it was REALLY cool!

Looks like you had lots of funLOTS of fun, yes!

pnevai - it's nice gear. We all like to use our own gear, but I've got no problems with their gear. It's Disney - it's going to be good.

Cool. I caught the other thread by NitroWill on this dive. Good stuff. I'll definitely have to check it out sometime. Maybe when I get my daughter to start diving (something like 16 years from now :smiley2:).

Just a note about Dive Quest's rules about using your own gear--it's to protect their controlled environment (and creatures) from any outside "critters" that might be living or dormant on your gear. They do allow you to bring your own mask if it's a prescription. On their gear--they use ScubaPro gear and replace it often. I was so impressed with the BC I used on this dive (comfortable for the first time ever in a jacket BC!) that I went out and bought the exact model. They use weight integrated BCs too, so no sagging weight belt around your hips when you get to depth--which in this case is a maximum of ~30 feet. A really great dive in my opinion.

So what discounts are available. I have heard that they give a discount for being PADI certified.
The LDS did a Fl trip one time and decided that they would do the Disney dive. When everyone came back they posted all the certificates on the ceiling of the shop.
