Alright, Ive having major problems finding correct tide predictions.

First dive at the St Andrews jetties I used COASTAL tide charts. They of course don't account for the emptying of the bay. Nearly got swept out to sea http://www.scubatoys.com/forum/smileys/smiley5.gif
<DIV>Second dive I used Saltwatertides.com. Got in the water... WOOSH... What tha? Im going to die... http://www.scubatoys.com/forum/smileys/smiley5.gif</DIV>
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV>Third dive I was getting my tanks filled at PCB Dive Center and one of the guys mentions high tide is 12:37 for today... SaltWaterTides said 11:47! I think saltwater tides is trying to kill me... </DIV>
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV>Anyway, my last dive was PERFECT. We started on one end of the jetties, drifted down the jetties with the tide. Went and stood in the shallows for a bit, thencaught the tide as it turned around and drifted back. Can't ask for better. </DIV>
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV>So, the question is, where does PCB Dive Center get their tide charts from? They are obviously quite acurate. </DIV>
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV>Yall have some suggestions for tide charts?</DIV>
<DIV>Thanks</DIV>
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV>BTW, yes, the obvious answer is ask them, but Im trying to plan some dives right now and it's too late.</DIV>

Have you tried this one? I can't vouch for exactly how precise it is, but it seems to be pretty good. I'm about 60 miles west from the site you're talking about.

Excellent link! Many Thanks!

<DIV>I figured this problem out. That website you posted has two listings for St Andrews channel. One is taken on the bay side of the channel, the other on the gulf side. SaltWaterTides uses one while The Dive Center uses the other... Good to know. </DIV>
