Thanks to everyone at scuba toys! My fins, mask, booties, and knife
were all pack very well and showed up right on time. Thank you also for
installing the spring straps on the fins and my rx lenses in the mask,
that is a huge thing I didn't have to worry about doing! Awesome,
awesome, awesome! Also, thanks to everyone on here that has made
excellent suggestions. I'm very confident in my purchase because you
shared your thoughts and experiences. smileys/smiley32.gifsmileys/smiley32.gifsmileys/smiley32.gifsmileys/smiley32.gifsmileys/smiley32.gif

I got apollo bio fin pros with the spring straps (black), I got the
Mares x-vision mask with my rx lenses (blue), I got the UK Titanium
Blue Tang Knife Blunt tip (yellow), and the neo sport boots! Wooooo
Hoooo, they all rock!

As far as actually getting certified, I'm not sure yet. The bro-in-law
is the hang up. I might loan him the cash so we can get certified now,
I don't think I can wait! I really, really would like to go to San
Carlos to do the ow cert dives, but it will probably be Lake Pleasant.
The only wild card is that we might have a connection in San Diego,
then classes and dives will take place there. To be continued
until I hear from my bro-in-law.

San Diego's the place to be this time of year. Well, actually any time of year. If you do it in San Diego, I'd recommend seeing if you can do the 2nd day of OW dives ona boat. I think it's worth swimming off the beach to learn surf entries, but it's also nice to see some of the local reefs.
