You will find Rescue to be one of the best courses you've taken. It is also the diving course with the least amount of "diving." The skills you learn may help save someone's life though. Best of luck and have fun.

I think you'll have a blast with the course, it might be a bit cool now for it but I think a 7mm will be fine in the midwest right now.

Enjoy it, there's a lot to learn and it's going to be fun.

Rescue Diver is an important step in your diving education and a lot of fun. You will learn a lot of good skills and practice some old ones.

Rescue is a fun class. Very little diving but lots of surface work.

I was hoping to get it done by the end of this year, but most likely it isn't going to happen. I think after I tag along w/ our dive clubs open water check out dives in Dec i'm going to retire my dive gear for a few months until it warms up a bit.... I might end up doing the new years dive though.. will be my first.

I'm really looking forward to the rescue class, AOW I didn't really enjoy too much. Rescue appears to be more in-depth and technical. AOW was just kinda boring. Like the multi-level / computer diving, every dive i've ever done has been multi-level w/ a computer :P And deep diving? Most of my dives have been 80-130 ft @ Oronogo. I did need the compass nav skill though, I never use my compass. I always just followed contour. The night dive part of the course was fun too.

Just finished my Rescue in October. Go for it... The diving is getting a little chilly in the midwest. Beaver was 63 last week.
