it breathes esier i mean the gt3 is a great reg and i will keep it as a spare, but this is a much better breathing reg, and i like the venturi control the gt3 doesnt have that.

That was one amazing price, and that is the reg I use... one very nice package. Do they have any more??? Personally, I think it is their best regulator package. The 650 was slightly easier to breath when adjusted perfectly, but upside down it leaks water. The 600 is nice, but if you have a big head, the bubbles get in the way due to the small size. The 250 is just right.

the last one they had! just curious how much do they usually sell for? Im thinking of maybe getting the 600 down the line as a new secound stage but well see.

The 250 breathes just as good, if you do, can I have your 250?

They have updated the 250, so they may have been getting rid of the older design.. which is actually more expensive to make.

List I believe is $608

The scubapro Mk25/G250 is a great regulator. But if you can really notice a big difference in its performance as compared to your Oceanic GT3, your GT3 probably just needs to be tuned or serviced. Most quality regs can be set up for fairly stable cracking pressures under 1 inch of water. In that range, it usually takes a machine to tell one from another.

BTW, the biggest difference you should expect with an S600 is what you can see - the size.

That's what I was thinking. My GT3, when the knob is fully adjusted to it's most 'easy breathing' direction, it's almost pushing air down my throat! Breathing is effortless with that thing. I don't see how it gets any better than that!

But dang that's a deal on that Scubapro! Nice find! :smiley20: If I were you, I'd sell the 250, use part of the profit to service your GT3, and by a nice set of fins or something with what's left over. :smiley36:
