Is there such a thing a compact digital camera, that can do custom white balance that will work for the video mode of the camera?

I'm using a Fuji F11 and My Video's are so much 'greener' than my pictures.

I have an Oly C5060 and my wife has a SP-350. With both cameras if you enter the video mode you can adjust the white balance. I am not sure on your particular camera but you should be able to i would think. Most cameras you have some settings that you can adjust in the video mode. I have some friends that have the sea and sea cameras and i know you can set it on those also in the video mode.

You have white balance only for the pictures... the video should be set to daylight...does not appear to be adjustable of the F11

Yep, no option for white balance for video on the F11. Does anyone know of a compact digital that does have it?

I found out about it on my SP-350 by accident...I had set the white balance to manual for taking a picture and didn't reset it when I went to take a video. It took me a little while to figure out how that one video came out in color when all of the others were blue and shot at shallower depths.

What specification should i look for to determine if a camera has this feature? For example the Olympus Mju 1020 has a manual white balance setting but not sure if its for video too

I noticed a few new compact digital cameras are coming out with HD Video quality...
