I have not seen anything in years as far as dive computers to drool over. But then I work in the computer industry and feel dive computers are 10 years behind the times from a technology prospective. Even worse on the software side.

That being said, the Uwatec Galileo is the latest and greatest at this point. Really is much more interesting from a feature functionality perspective than the Data Mask. At least in my opinion.

I am encouraged by the Data Mask and Galileo that there is hope for advancement and innovation in dive computers. Now if the equipment companies would figure out how to write decent download/log software, or at least publish their download interface specs so real software developers could write apps, then I might get excited.

Shearwater Research Inc. (http://rebreather.ca/) showcased at DEMA their new Shearwater Pursuit (http://rebreather.ca/images/Pursuit/Pursuit_left.jpg) computer. It appears to be a very intelligently engineered and capable piece of equipment.
