View Full Version : Zeagle or Sherwood Gemini octo?

I'm thinking of switching to an octo that works on the BC hose. I've heard good things about both the Zeagle and the Sherwood Gemini but don't know which to go for. Any opinions?

Will the Zeagle fit my Sherwood Maximus reg and Axis BC?

I have had a gemini for about two years now with no problems. Some feel it would be too close with a panicked diver, but they will probably grab your main anyway, given a chance.

I know a few who have the Sherwood gemini and they swear by it. The zeagle as far as I am concerned looks pretty much the same in comparison. Since you are the one who will be breathing off it, that should be your first priority, the ease of breathing and ease of use. Both are great products. Happy shopping!

I used the Sherwood Gemini for a year before giving the BC it was on to my wife who now uses it.
It breaths very well and hasn't been any problems.
I now use an Aquatec Air 3 it breaths well but not as good as the Gemini it has an added feature of a built in subduck underwater sounder.
