I'm thinking of switching to an octo that works on the BC hose. I've heard good things about both the Zeagle and the Sherwood Gemini but don't know which to go for. Any opinions?

Will the Zeagle fit my Sherwood Maximus reg and Axis BC?

I apologize if this seems like it's in the wrong forum but I got no response in the regulator forum.

Thanks,

Gear to get you there and get you back.
Have had good results with my Octo +.
I like the streamlined look and I like the fact that I'm very familiar with it cause it's "right there" with the inflator button.

One of the very nice features of the Octo-Z is that the octo-inflator stays with the LP hose and the rest of the reg and simply unscrews from the BC's corrugated hose - with a regular hose bib thread.

That means that (a) your octo-inflator is washed, dried and stored carefully with the rest of your reg and (b) you can hook up the BC to a garden hose for rinsing.
