My Dive Alert got sand all trapped inside after a shore dive and the button got stuck. I've taken it to a dive shop and they couldn't do anything coz they didn't know how to open it up. As a last resort before I get a new one, I emailed Dive Alert, immediately they sent me a section plan of the Dive Alert device and in the email told me exactly how to pull it apart.

I got rid of all the sand in like 10 minutes!

I'm VERY impressed. Not only did they made a great innovative device, but also a bar-none customer service! Very very impressed indeed, from a company who now pretty much represents the signaling device field (says Rodale)!
