I don't like the wrist lanyard, and don't like my hand always being tied to the camera. It's just a point-n-shoot camera, so what's the best way to carry it? Clip it to the BC? What about it dangling around? I know these are probably dumb questions, but I'd like to know.

I tie a bolt snap to it and clip it to my D ring. It doesn't dangle around too much. I am not a fan of wrist lanyards.

I have only had my camera on two trips. The first I had it on a lanyard from my D ring. Whenever I wanted it I couldn't find it do to the positive bouyency. The second time I used a retractor and that helped alot.

I use one of these:

Scuba Gear and Scuba Diving Equipment - Discount dive gear (http://http://www.scubatoys.com/store/detail.asp?PRODUCT_ID=CRLO3)

Clip it to my D-ring and then when I need the camera, unhook the hasp. Keeps it always tied to me and doesn't hang down too much.

How far does the coil stretch out on that? Looks like very cool idea! Thanks!

I would say the coil will stretch about 3-4 feet. More than enough. It works great for me.

I cable tie stainless steel clips on each side of my housing. I have a large dSLR setup with dual strobes and carry the camera 99% of the time. I also dive with a BPW and when I do clip off the camera I use my scooter tow ring on my BPW.
