Any of you ladies found 1 that doesn't flatten out the front, only to squish everything sideways?! My only request is no underwire. Thanks

Have you tried Victoria's Secret? I haven't ever tried theirs, but also have yet to find one that doesn't squish. Good luck!

I find it extremely hard to find any softcup (no underwire) bras. I have some nasty scoliosis, so these are my only option if I am to avoid bruising on my left ribs. You'll probably have to hit a specialty shop or even online

Try to find one that fastens in the front. I found mine at Walmart and it is very comfortable. It is very hard to find bras without underwire.

I just wear the ones from Target. They pretty much squish me in, but not sideways. I don't think they would work well for someone much more well-endowed than me.

Just a Question here.

Why is "bra" singular and "panties" plural?

Duh ... for the same reason shirt is singular, and pants are plural!:11poke:

Sears has one that's o.k. I think it's Hanes, but it's not identified on the bra. There is a model #82965/HC09. It comes in black or white. The straps can show when wearing a t-shirt, but it's fine with a turtleneck.

Also, although it has an underwire, Lily O France has one that looks like it's inside out, but it's VERY comfortable. Style 2111210 RN16345. I found it as a closeout at Kohl's.

If you want a sports bra for things like running, et cetera, may I recommend the Champion somethingorother, sold at Dick's Sporting Goods (if you have those near you.) I've removed the tags so I don't know what its called but it is pretty plain and VERY supportive (coming from someone who really needs a heavy duty bra to run, if you get my drift.)

If you want something with more separation, what about Lands End? They sell a variety of light-duty and heavy-duty sports bras and I know I saw some in their catalog that had "two boobs" instead of just one.

Check out Title Nine (Scuba Gear and Scuba Diving Equipment - Discount dive gear (Cheap online!) (http://www.titlenine.com)), athletic apparel for women. They have a really amazing bra selection, including sports bras.

Champion has them. I love their stuff. I have D cup situation and most swimsuits don't work for me, especially after they get wet. My solution has been to buy several sports bras, I like black with underwire, and wear them with my one piece swimsuit or sometimes I just use them as the top of a two-piece. Yes, the straps show with the one-piece but I don't care. It's better than flopping out when you bend over taking off the wetsuit. No uni-boob either! My daughter is a B cup and she has several of them too that she wears instead of a regular bra. Gorgeous colors available too.

Have you tried the Enell Sports Bra?
This is the one that Oprah wears. It's a very supportive bra.
You can order one on line from Home - Diva Bras (http://www.Divabras.com).

Just a word of caution with the front fasten ones-the other tech that works with me tried one that zipped in the front-let's just say she thought it was going to be a permanent fixture in her life.

Bah!Just take your dive knife, carve out a bra from an old inner-tube, and tack it together with JB Weld.(36 years single, and still going strong)

I saw a show on bras a little while back on one of the science/learning type networks.. like Discovery, Nat Geo, etc... It was pretty interesting in regards to how they came about, how they're made, fitted etc.. And that most women have never been properly fitted and are wearing the wrong size, but I digress..

They did some testing on sports bras and found that the more rigid type models were more comfortable and offer the proper support for "the twins" than the typical Lycra sport bra that you see women wearing.

I strongly recommend going to a Sporting goods store and just trying on bras till you find one that's comfortable (I recommend jumping a few times). I am a 32 DD and I tried on close to 25 bras before I found a good one. Finding the right sports bra is just something you've got to keep at till you find what you want!
Good luck!

The Goddess 5056 Soft Cup Sports Bras do not flatten. They are medium impact bras, very comfortable, yet supportive.

Another vote for Champion. As a D-cup veteran of 12 marathons and I-don't-even-know-how-many shorter races, I can't count the number of miles I've run with Champion support.

Anyone tried Breeze Comfort sports bras (Breeze Comfort Sports Bra (http://www.breezecomfort.com))? My friend bought it and is recommending it to me.

I have a Reebok one from Dick's but it does the side squeeze thing.

OK, old thread but still a pertinent topic. Does anyone know of any manufacturers who do custom sports bras other than Ennell?
