If you are gonna fly through Miama International Airport, I would recommend using a TSA lock. That place is notorious for bags going in but not coming back out!!

Lock are just a false sense of security as you can see from the above video. To me a more important issue is how to keep the bag from popping open when they drop it from 20 feet out the cargo door. I use 2 inch straps one vertical one horizontal to secure mine it also helps in bag claim recognition.
