I like wheeled carry ons. I don't need a carry on to be a backpack.
I do like backpack style wet sacks. I keep 1 in my wheeled boat bag and use it for my wet items after diving.

Just ordered a Jansport drive 8 wheelede back pack. $46 with free shipping and free return if I decide that it doesn't meet my needs. It has a padded laptop sleeve, 2 main comparments and weighs just over 4 lbs. Will report back after I get it....
