I need a dry bag or box

I have a non scuba related piece of equipment that is 5.5inches in a circular diameter all the way around and 1.5 inches high. I need the dry box or bag because this piece of equipment can not get water damaged but must sit outside in rain and other water weather elements. I normally use Tupperware but that still is not 100% waterproof and can void the equipments warranty if any water damage occurs. Do you have any suggestions on the product I will need for this equipment. and where i could buy several at for a lower price?

Whe I was a raft guide and didn't have a lot of money I made a couple of dry boxes from the coleman 2 or 3 gallon drinking jugs from walmart in the camping and cooler aisle. I plugged the spouts and the area where the spout folded with some aquaseal or wax, whichever I could afford at the time and had a great round dry box. It never leaked and was good and cheap. The jugs were only about 3 or 4 bucks usually. Plus it was round - like your piece of equipment.

I still have a couple of those containers that I use when I am paddling or as dry boxes on the boat.

Plastic pistol cases from Walmart or sporting goods stores. Less than 10 dollars - and very tough. About the right size - are watertight (not waterproof though), come with foam padding you can cut to fit (an electric knife works great). If you are paranoid about absolutely no water, put your item in a ziplock bag first.

If it has to be absolutely waterproof, you can get a Pelican or Storm case (they have oring seals); but you're talking 60-70 bucks
