The problem with ALL of the roller bags is the damn things start out weighing 8-12lbs empty. That is 20% of your baggage allowance these days. I use a heavy duty duffle like these:

Travel Bags

I have schlepped these things all over the world for 20 years and they are still going strong. If you are too much of wimp to carry them hire one of those stupid carts or hire a local to schlep it to your hotel.

hate to tell you , but all the clothes go with the checked baggage, all the important dive stuff gets to be carry on. clothes you can buy cheaply but regs and gear gets a little pricey. i use nothing but samsonite bags. carry everything well even the carry on stuff

I haven't had the oportunity to travel outside of the US or by plane with my dive gear yet. With all of the horror stories and suggestions that gear comes up missing I plan to evenly distribute my gear between all of my families bags and carry on the regs and computer for sure. BTW I have the

Akona AKB-144 Rolling Backpack Bag, Dive Bags, Akona, Akona AKB-144 Rolling Backpack Bag

Big, kinda heavy, but it fits ALL of my gear, 7mil farmer john/shorty, PROQD XXL, size 16 5 mil boots, Cressi XXL fins, shorts, towel, extras all of it, fits good.

Yeah, but it is huge and well built and designed. Do it once and do it right.

Something I am just now learning is, scuab bags (and Pelicans) get searched every time, while Wal-Mart specials usually do not... Mine will be the beat-up, cheapy on the turnstile!

I have one of these bags myself:

High Sierra Sport Company

Now, after you croak at the price, I paid $99 for one at TJ Maxx.

The weight is 12.3lbs - and considering the bag is 3' tall, thats pretty good. I am hoping to put both me and my wife's scuba gear in the bag. (sans regulators and computers and maybe the fins)
