If you travel alone, like some of us, you need to be able to handle everything all at once, thru the airport lines, transfers, lobbies, ect. I have been using rolling duffles for the last eight years and have gone thru three of them. The last one got demolished by "handlers" to and from Belize. They also do not stand up without assistance, which wears me out when you have to move inch by inch at customs and the like.I saw that someone suggested getting carts or help, Ha! That is a thing of the past for the most part.
I can't help but wonder/hope that luggage built for the occasion would rise to it. I don't like the idea of advertising that it's dive gear so I am looking for something low key, not flashy.Someone mentioned spray paint, that sounds like a really good idea. Stahsac seems to have a good warranty and has two bags I am considering. The Cozumel Cruiser and the Jamaican Smuggler. Any comments on either? Would love to hear from you. ![]() |

I was able to fit my notebook, regulartor, 2 masks, 2 paperbacks, my camera and housing, a bathing suit and 2 changes of clothing plus assorted toiletries, batteries, etc in the backpack which I carried onto the plane. Luggage: $60 (this one has lasted 4 years so far) Carryon: $ 30 (will have other uses for it when not traveling as well)
