Omega aquatics zone 2 (II)

Has anyone used this bcd? and will it support double, steel, 3442 psi 80s?

According to it's specs it will. I wouldn't want to use it for singles (not really for doubles either) - with its 60 pounds of lift. That might even be overkill for doubles depending on your configuration.

I have the old RipTide Zone II, from before they made the distribution deal with Omega Aquatics. I know it's built to handle doubles, though I haven't done it myself. A number of guys at the LDS where I bought mine dive the Zone II with steel doubles. I've seen their rigs. This may not help you, since the new Zone II is supposed to be a slightly different design (even though the one on their website looks the same as mine). All I can tell you is that I've looked over the Omega Aquatics Evolution and it seems to be just as well built as the my RipTide. I assume the new Zone II will be of similar quality.
