Brigade dump valve question

When looking at some pictures of the Zeagle Brigade, it appears that the lower dump valves are on the "inside" of the wing, in other words, they face towards the diver. On my Stiletto, they are on the "outside." I suspect it doesn't make much difference, but somehow it seems to make more sense to have these valves at the "highest" point which would seem to be the placement used in the Stiletto.

Are my eyes deceiving me, or are they different? And is there any sophisticated, high-tech reason for this difference, or just how they are made?

Mine are definitely on the outside. Maybe the picture is making some of the metal o-rings used to tie the bladder on look like the dump valves.

Mine are outside too, but I believe some of the older models did have them on the inside. I'm sure Scott Zeagle or one of the Elves from Scuba Toys will be along with a difinitive answer. There was a similar thread on Scubaboard if you can't wait.

Thanks for the suggestion about the other forum. I did a search and found a thread there, although it was a couple years old. I gather the valve location is different on the Ranger than the Brigade, Stiletto or Escape, due some issue with the pull cord potentially getting caught in the bungee. As I said, I am not sure it really matters, although that thread got a bit contentious over the issue.

For the most part, I empty the bladder on descent and except for a few minor adjustments due to suit compression and depth, I don't really need to fiddle with the air again until I ascend, needing to dump whatever I may have added, so all in all, I was just curious.
