Adding a shoulder dump on the Brigade

I have a small Brigade and it has only the dump valve/inflator hose on the left shoulder. I would like to add an additional dump valve on the right shoulder like most other BCs have. Has anyone done this? What are your thoughts?

I like having the ability to dump air no matter what my body position is. I know I can lean to my right and pull my inflator hose to dump, but I think it would be handy to have one on the right side as well.

I have one on my Tusa back inflate BC and it rocks - it actually has four dumps for dumping in ANY position... talk about really nice...

I am not GUE, but I am gonna say it. Just another failure point. You don't need it.

Should we add another RC to your jump rig?

Sleep well tonight.
You don't need it.

Might be nice, sometimes, but to tell you the truth, I've never seen a need for one on mine. Usually I use the rear dumps. When ascending/descending the left shoulder. I suppose if I were trapped on my left side in a heads-up position, say against the ceiling of an overhead I'd be in trouble.

Methinks DW is not so much interested in adding a dump valve, as he is looking for a way to reach that 250 post mark.

Check out the Man's Laws section. Plenty of posting to be done there.

Actually I had an older Scubapro back inflate and it had a pull dump on the left shoulder, and I prefered it to the inflater hose dump valve. When I got my ranger I was missing the valve for a bunch as well, and wished for the option of adding one in.
And past the 250 post mark.
