Hollis website
Hollis Gear
This is their website. I too have not heard anything/reviews about their products. Have also been patiently waiting feedback.

This seems to be a common problem, not just with Hollis. I had the same thing with Oxycheq and Dive Rite. My LDS had put in a order last fall to Oxy and only about half the items shipped, the rest were back-ordered and some hadn't even been manufactured yet. I don't have much patience for back-orders, there are too many options available.

I saw some of it at Our World Underwater, but obviously have never dove it... It looked nice. That is about all that I know about it. Looked to be well build and functional.
I agree that if it is on backorder, I can find something else that is not that works just as well... I am not a patient person either, when it comes to getting something that I want... Phil |

Look for the Scuba Diving Magazine May '08 Issue - "6 Travel Ready BCs Review" article.
It weighs almost 10 pounds, so I'm not really sure how "travel friendly" it is, but that is really up to the end user! FYI - the new Zeagle Escape BC is also reviewed in that article... ![]() Last edited by ScottZeagle : 04-23-2008 at 01:54 PM. |
