BP/W and extra weight

Okay so I have bought and assembled my BP/W: DR SS Backplate, DR Deluxe Harness, Oxycheq 30lb Razor. I sink straight to the bottom in the pool, but I am thinking that I might need a little more weight in salt water, I am thinking maybe two pounds. What is the best way for me to add 2 lbs?

I was looking at the oxycheq weight pouch. I like this because I can choose how much more weight to use. The other thing I was looking at is the dive rite weight pouches. They come in fixed weights though. I really don't know the exact amount I will need. One other thing I have seen is normal weight belt on the waste strap of the harness. Has anyone tried this. I don't really want to wear the weight out like this or on a weight belt.

Thanks.

This is what I use you can put them on your harness or on the cam bands. Simple and you can use what eversize weights you need

I like that. It is much cheaper than the sausage weight. Has anyone on here had problems with these? Like pouches coming open?

I have used them for years on cam straps and waist straps. NEVER had one open and lose the weight.

I hate to be the odd man here but I had a problem with them. I ordered the pockets that velcro on and off the webbing instead of just sliding on. On my first dive with them I felt something hit my leg and looked down just in time to watch the whole pocket falling to the ocean floor. I was able to retrieve and used it the several more times without problems. This was most likely my fault and I had not secured the velcro good enough but I didn't want to take a chance again so I had the velcro closure sewn shut. Since then I have used them without a problem and love them. I have it threaded onto the waist belt of my BP/W webbing. My only suggestion would be to buy the slide on pocket instead of the quick attach.

i just put lead directly on my tank straps... never had a problem, and it's right over my chest... so it works for me.
2lbs each strap...

These work really well. I placed a pocket on each side of the waist strap right next to the plate and used a $0.65 belt slide to keep them in place. It may seem like an odd place to put weight, but the balance seems to have worked our just right for me. Now, when I switch from a steel tank to aluminum I drop 4 pound on each side and I'm good to go.

I use the weight keepers too to hold the pockets in place. Works great.
