Just got my new Seaquest Pro Unlimited BC and had it in the water this weekend. My other BC is an Oceanic Probe. I am somewhat partial to the jacket style. The one nice thing about the Seaquest is the way it puts the weight of the tank on the small of your back rather than on your shoulders. It has a huge lumbar pad to cushion the tank. This BC is extremely comfortable when walking to and from the water. It comes with a color matching knife and retractor.
<DIV>Pockets are designed to allow easy insertion of the weight pouches even when items are in the pockets. </DIV> <DIV>Price is certainly a factor with this BC, butthis is a premium item and well made.</DIV> <DIV>Highlyrecommended.</DIV> <DIV></DIV> |

I've been using the Pro Unlimited for about 3 years now. It's the original model with the velcro weight pockets. I LOVE this BC. Very comfortable! Only complaint is that the side pockets are totally useless when using integrated weights.
To the OP, how do you like the newer style weight pockets? Do they come out easily enough when needed? |

I have a Zeagle Brigade and also have the air trapping problem. It didn't happen until after I removed the bungees from the wing (a discussion for another thread). It really isn't a big issue for me, I just have to remember to raise my right shoulder after adding air is all.

The weight pouches are held in very securely (I wouldnt have thought that by looking at them) - you need to give a forward jerk on the pouch to get it to come out - it does not seem to come out accidently.
<DIV>One difference between the design of this BC and my Oceanic Probe is that if I have something in the pockets I have trouble getting the weights into the BC. The seaquest allows the weights to go in more easily. The pockets are outside of the weight area - seem to be spacious enough and expand outward to allow use of the pockets.</DIV> <DIV></DIV> <DIV></DIV> |

i figured out how to deal with it by just rolling my sholder and balancing out the air,but it is aggrvating, seems worst when my bc is close to empty at the end of the dive, took me 20 or so dives to figure out it was air getting trapped on one side or the other, never had that problem with a jacket.
