XS scuba pony pack?

I was looking around the LDs and they had a pony pack hanging on the wall..

Then i went to the XS scuba site and saw it there, but wasnt sure about it. Has anyone ever used one of these? I think its an interesting idea. Would be cool to have one and leave it on the boat to clear a fouled anchor line or propeller. or just to play around with if out with friends sunning or fishing.

XS scuba has a wing set up that will attach to the pony pack and a different cam band setup to allow it to hold full sized bottles. That might make a nice travel setup

Ive also seen the zeagle rapid diver which looks pretty sweet.

Anyone have thoughts on that system?

I work at a dive shop and we carry both the pony pack and the rapid diver. The pony pack is great just to throw up to a 40 cu ft bottle on and mess around or clean ur boat, things like that. And if its comfortable for you to wear you can just replace the pony sized cam strap for a full size and use it with the wing you mentioned. The zeagle rapid diver is originally designed as a quick deploy rescue rig because of its "one size fits all" adjustability and because the tank is already rigged up. However, you can also run a regular tank on the back if you want, just add a cam strap to it. Depending on your personal preferences, you would probably be happier with the pony pack and wing, since the rapid diver is a horse collar style inflate. Not always the easiest to use in the water.

if you are still looking, xs scuba just introduced a travel bc that is basically they're pony pack with weight pockets in the front and 2 straps to hold a tank in the back. it weighs in under 5 lbs (i think). looked like a very nice little set up
