Seaquest AVDi BCD

I just received an older model Seaquest AVDi BCD. I cleaned it up, reflushed the bladders and filled it with air. It has been holding very well for the past several hours. The OPV and the shoulder valve all seem to be operational. Since I am a novice, I am wondering if this is a useful piece of equipment, or a great doorstop?

It has an older alternate inflator regulator, which was probably original equipment. If it is usable and safe, I will have the unit serviced prior to use.

Any suggestions?

No it says AVDi on the front of the BC. It is non weight integrated Jacket style with a cumber bun at the waist. It also features an alternate inflator regulator with an integrated dump valve at the shoulder. I am certain it is 10 to 15 years old, however it is in good shape. I have searched the Aqualung web site and it is not listed. My LDS is not open much in the winter, since you can see that where I live there is not much opportunity to dive right now. I am not excited about taking it on a plane and finding it was a 20# carry-on throw-away.
