OK, I guess that wasn't exactly clear.
I have a difficult ime clearing all of the air from my wing on the surface making it tough (sometime) for me to descend. What I want to do is wrap the wing with bungee so the wing is squeezed by the bungee and air is forced out when I dump it. Does anyone do this? |

Water pressure should squeeze the wing just fine. Bungees really just help control the shape of a wing that's (IMHO) too big for the job. If a wing is the right size, it won't taco, and it won't need them. If you're upright on the surface, the water pressure really should force all the air to the top of the wing as you descend, unless you aren't oriented properly or the wing is comically large.
To address your question though, I don't know of any websites (or divers) offering tips on how to bungee a wing that didn't come with them. What wing are you using? Maybe we can come up with a solution (other than "replace it with an appropriate wing") for you.

Trying to use a doubles wing with a singles tank is often contemplated, but really not a great idea, for the reasons you seem to already have experienced. In addition to trouble descending, a doubles wing is simply too wide and will taco up the entire single tank, creating stability problems. The OPV would also then be too high to comfortably reach. By adding home-made bungee-ties to the wing, you may introduce additional stray pockets of air that are difficult to shift and/or dump when needed.
I mean, you're probably not endangering yourself by doing it, but you'll be so much happier with an adequately-sized singles wing. |

In Playa, you could just remove the wing and dive with little of no neoprene. The 4 - 5 lb buoyancy swing with an Al80 should be manageable without a BCD. You will want your weight right on.
