haven't seen much traffic on the dive rite systems of bc. opinions on them. i have the set up and love it, especially being able to change out pieces of it to accomdate what i need for that dive that day.

I love mine. I have the Transpac2 harness with Dual Rec Wings.

I really like my Transpac BUT I may switch to a SS BP so I can drop some weight.

Would you not still be using the same amount of weight just some of it as a SS plate instead of all being lead weights?

I did take some of the lead out of my integrated drop weights by putting trim weights on the harness.

Transplate - SS bp w/Venture wing - best bc I've ever dove. I may go HOG harness when it is time to replace the webbing.

I use the transpac as well. Best BC I've ever used although I've never tried a true BP/W combo.

I have used the transpac, currently use a golem gear bp/w. The transpace was nice but the backplate gets weight off my hips
I would have purchased the transplate, but the $ was easier on the golem gear

glad to here there are divers out there using this, i have the transpac with trek wings and love the feeling in the water and how easy it is to swtich some things around. i really love the just pulling down on the dump ( low pressure inflator) to release air, no more holding my arm up haha
