DiveRite backplate sharp edges?
Hey guys,
In my search of the perfect kit I stumbled upon a few messages about the DR backplates. I have red that the edges can be sharp and you can possibly damage your gear. Anyone got experience with this? I dont have a dremel and just want a good product without any sharp edges. Thanks guys, Ties |

I have a AL DR plate and have never experienced this problem.
I have heard a technical instructor told me that he changed his DR plate because the plate "cuts" into his body when he dives doubles.

LOL
Like I said, I experienced no such problems. Maybe that instructor was just trying to sell me a new backplate.
