I too just bought the Mini-STA's they work fine when in the water. I bought some spring washers to stop the wing nuts loosening up so much, so far they have worked well, but I like Devil Diver's rubber washer idea, I think I'll add some of these also.
The main issue I had with these is that the bolt length is too small for the top STA. It's not long enough to go through mini-sta, wing, harness, plate, washer and then get the nut on it. I just bought a longer one which does the job nicely but it does worry me that Oxycheq did not foresee this issue as most plates are going to present the same issue. Anyone else found this? Dave |

Had the same problem with the top bolt and had to buy a separate one on my own. It is weird that oxycheq hasn't realise this problem yet.
