Question Oceanic ProbeLX size question

I just purchased Oceanic ProbeLX BC and according to size chart on Oceanic page I should be well fitted by LG . I am 6'2" 190lb but i have feeling it is too big for me. Does anybody had similar experience where official chart is not matching actual? do I need to try it with heavy wetsuit or it should fit perfectly without any? how tight it should be? I do not have air tanks available to try it fully inflated

Thanks

You can fully inflate it orally.

Although, when properly weighted you should almost no air in the BC (will vary according to depth and neoprene of course).

It what ways to you feel it is too big? Where did you purchase it? If you bought it from a local shop, take to them to confirm fit.

I purchased it from online Oceanic dealer, but I will try smaller size in my local dive shop.
Cummerbund is too long and waist buckle is loose. If I tighten up belt, edges of BC almost overlap. Pulldown straps are ok.
But do you think I need to wear wetsuit to fit it properly?
Very nice BC otherwise

What do you wear when diving?

Ah hell, it probably won't matter unless you wear 20mm of neoprene. If you can't get it tight, it's too big. Send it back and get a smaller size.

Depends. If fresh water in PA 7mm, in carribean 3mm. does it need to be snug fit?
