Are Backplate/Wing setups generally available for rent? I would like to
see if I prefer the BP/W or the BC jackets. I just haven't read about
people renting them.

I've never been to a shop that rents out BP/W setups, then again some places have more rentals than whats sitting right in your face. The closest thing I've seen to a BP/W at a dive shop is a back inflate jacket.

Tell you what... We'll get one together at Scubatoys for rent... Just give us a few days to have Woody put together a setup.

So for all the posts I see with some people loving their BP/W setup, did you guys purchase without trying or borrow?

I put one on, but didn't adjust it to fit me at all, I actually hated it. But, with majority of the people I talk to online switching to it, I figured it couldn't be as bad as I thought, so I sold my jacket style BC and bought a BP/W.

I've never seen them for rent anywhere I go, traditional jacket style is all I've even seen rented out.
