Extra Hose?

I just got my new Zeagle Brigade in the mail the other day and there was an extra hose in the box. Probably a stupid question coming up, but what is the extra hose for? My current lp hose that is attached to my regulator fits the bc just fine. Is it just a backup for my current one?

They come with a lp hose for the bc's inflator standard. Now you have a back-up! Keep diving and buying gear and in a few years you will have 'lots' of hoses.

every BC or Wing etc.. comes with the hose that fits it... just like he said.
some hoses are different lengths than others... use what you prefer.
the other thing, the inflators such as the Air 2 and the Zeagle octo Z use a different hose.
like Tex said, you will start having extra hoses as the time passes (i have 5 already, 2 in use, 3 extras)

Definitely throw it in your save-a-dive kit...you never know when you might need it. We even have an extra computer QD hose in our save-a-dive kit.

I fit a extra hose to my regs for my drysuit and/or to use to inflate liftbags (when used with an attachment). Finding a hose that is just the right length can be an issue as sometimes the standard inflator hose can be a little long.

ya i have like 3 lp hoses now. but i am glad i had an extra one as i atached my first stage in the keys one time and the spring blew out of the quick connect hose, scared me half to death as the lp hose rocketed around like a whip. after i stopped the flow i went to the truck and got my spare and good as new. so the moral is don't just have the extra, put it in your dive bag.
