US-Tech plastic backpack/plate usuable?

I aquired an old US-Tech jacket style bcd in December from my father-in-law. While looking at it a few days ago I noticed that the jacket is connected to a plastic backplate that appears to have shoulder slots for a hog harness. It's very similar in design to the image below except the handle is on the top and the slots are under it.

It looks like it will work with my Mach V Extreme wing too.

Has anyone used one of these plastic backplates before?
