Shopping cart & Firefox 3

Any one else seeing errors when trying to access the shopping cart? Seems to only be happening to me when using Firefox 3. IE and FF2 seem to work fine. It's happening to me on at least 2 different machines.

I am getting the following error:

Your Cart

Microsoft VBScript runtime error '800a0006'
Overflow: 'cInt'
/store/SFLib/incGeneral.asp, line 922
Product Unit Price Qty Price Action

I just tried it on mine - and it worked... But!!!!

I thing there is a Java Glitch in Firefox 3. A day ago, I could not post on the Forum with FF3. No problem with other browsers. I went to their knowledge base, and they said it could be from bad java code... so I turned of Java code, and Java script off the tools menu... and then it worked...

So I decided to put them back on one at a time to see if it was Java code, or java script - enabled java code - everything worked fine. Enabled Java Script - and everything worked fine!

The only thing I can guess is they are doing some type of Java code caching that has an error, and if you turn it off and back on - then it seems to work again... at least for now.

Might be interesting to try that and see if you have the same results.

getting error in IE6 as well

Microsoft VBScript runtime error '800a0006' Overflow: 'cInt' /store/SFLib/incGeneral.asp, line 922

trying to add to cart and when accessing cart

apears to be an overflow happening in the vbscript should not be related to javascript.

more likely a stack overflow, to many characters being passed ? or non-intergers? try changing the cat ID parameter, and see if results change. it can be a simple as trying to pass non interger value to one that is expecting such.

I tried disabling Java in FF3, with no luck. I also tried deleting all the Java temporary files through the Java Control Panel with no luck. Hmmmm..

OK, now it seems to be working. While I had cleared my temp files several times, I hadn't cleared my cookies, and "Saved Form and Search History". After doing that, everything started to work.

OK, I broke it again. Here is what I did:

Everything was working fine. I could add stuff to my cart and delete just fine. I could close the browser and go back in, and everything was fine. I viewed my wish list just fine, but then when I tried to access the cart again, I would get the error. After I received the error this time, I accessed the cookies through the tools menu and deleted just the Scubatoys cookies, and was then able to access the cart again. Looks like there is some conflict with the wish list and the cart.

Well Damn!! Quit wishing and start buying!!! That's the problem. It's the firefox internet gods frowning on you for wishing instead of just tossing down the credit card!

I should have my beta version of the new cart available for me to start configuring over the weekend, and hopefully it will be full run some time next week - and then all these problems should go away.

Don't worry, you'll get my money. I just use the wish list to stage my order, then move it to the cart. I leave for Bonaire in 2 weeks, and I just want to make sure I ma getting everything I need.

BTW, what's the discount for beta testers???
