I recently took a vacation in Antigua. It was not a "dive" vacation but I did manage to slip away for 5 two tank dives. The dive operator was Indigo Divers. Nice clean boat, not too crowded, oxygen on board, snack and water or juice between dives. One of the owners (Don) dove with us every day. He's a PADI MSDT (?) and knew the dive sites and creatures very well. I brought my own gear but I saw the gear that the operator was renting and it looked fairly new and not beat to pieces.

<DIV></DIV>I am stilla new diver (total of 10 dives when I arrived) butI felt instantly comfortable after the professionalism of the first dive briefing. There was a separate gear briefing for the people that rented.

<DIV>I stayed at the Jolly Beach Resort. Rooms were kind of spartan but I wasn't there to sit in the room. The resteraunts weren't bad and we actually thought the Italian place on the resort was very tasty. </DIV>

<DIV>Indigo picked me up at a dock in Jolly Harbor just a 3 minute walk from the front desk of the resort. We dove on Cades Reef which was a20 to 25 minute ride from the dock. Indigo offers a multi level discount for repetitive days of diving with them. 10% off for every additional day up to 7 levels of discount. </DIV>

<DIV>Creatures I saw were:</DIV>
<DIV>Green Moray, Remora (3 ft. long, followed us for 40 minutes). Southern Stingray, Spotted Eagle Ray, Spotted Drummer, Nurse Sharks, Puffer, Lizard Fish, Hawksbill Turtle, Squid, all the normal reef fish.</DIV>
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV>I had a great time and can recommend Indigio Divers . </DIV>

I agree

Great island, not the greatest diving. Dived at an ops from Jolly Beach also. Best beach resort is Hawksbill. Even has a clothing optional beach
