Utila group looking for cheap hotels...
Some guys and I are planning on heading up to Utila for the next four day weekend and are having issues picking a cheap hotel near the water. We have a question for anyone who has stayed there in the last year. Where should we book? I know there are a ton of places that are not on the net like the ones in Roatan. I just have no idea how to get in touch with them. Any help would be appreaciated.

Check aboututila.com Most of the hotels with contact infor is listed there. If you have specific questions about them, feel free to ask. Lots of folks literally just show up and pick a place after walking around. What is your budget and I can probably point you in the right direction. If you are taking a course, you may even be able to stay for free with one of the shops. Lts of options on Utila.

Some of the guys from the dive shop Aquatics Safaris, in Wilmington went to Utila and stayed at the Mango Inn. Says it was great! Not real big, but they would recommend it. Dive guides were great guys. I am looking into going there myself. The Mango Inn - Utila, The Bay Islands, Honduras
