north side of Cozumel

Has anyone stayed at the El Cozumeleno Beach Resort. Its on the north side of the island. And does any of the dive ops pick up there? I know that all of the dive sites are on the south of the island but I got a good deal at this resort. And would you recomend the onsite dive shop (ocean tours) or go to one in town. They also operate out of El Presidente. I was reading the dive shops website and said they were known formerly as Scuba, Scuba and they created scuba du.

You might want to check out Aldora Divers. They run from the north end and I know they pick up at Villa Aldora, so they may pick up at some of the other piers as well.

I have been diving with Scuba Du for ten years and I love them. It is a bit more inconvenient to come from the north (you either take a boat or taxi to El Presidente then head out to the reefs) but the service is spectacular. I will be diving with them from April 30th-May 10. I'll let you know how it goes.

I signed up with Scuba Du and they picked me up at the El Cozumeleno we did 2 dives today I got 4 more days to go. I was dropped off at El Presidente They even paid for the cab ride back to El Cozumeleno. I had a great time. We had 7 people on the boat Several people asked if I was intrested in a night dive.
