I went on a liveaboard last year, and I'm going again in the later part of this month.
http://www.sailjuliet.com/ It's not the fanciest, but the diving was great and it's very simple. you stow your gear and just eat and dive. Fly into Miami and sail across dive for a few days and sail back.
