Diving in St. John, USVI...

I haven't seen any posts on St. John...doing research I know it's not the greatest place to dive, but there's gotta' be some good sites for the 3 days we'll be there in January....anyone know where they are?

Although it doesn't compare to other parts of the carib
there are some decent diving spots down there.
I dove with Low key diving in Cruise Bay http://www.divelowkey.com/sites.htm

I just returned from St. John, did a 10 tank package with Cruz Bay watersports. Best dive outfit I've ever seen. Nice boat great DM's. Charlie and Leslie were terrific. Deepest dive was 70' but most were about 40-50'. Water was a constant 83 degrees, even at 70'. 3mm shorty was very adequate, my buddy dove with shorts and a tee shirt and was comfortable. 100' + visibility everywhere. My favorite spot was the Cow and the Calf reef, lots of swim throughs, massive amounts of fish. We also did Congo Island,Hard Rock Cafe,Lind Point,Deevers Bay,Al's Cut,LaWongo Bay,Charlie's Cut, and Stevens Cay. You can get on their boat at the Westin Resort in Cruz Bay.

Dove St. John back in July with Down Under Watersports. We only dove two days, but we hit Whistling Cay Ledge and Whistling Cay West (the NW corner of St. John), then Booby Rock and Eagle Shoals on the SE end. The second day was definately the best.

DUW is a smaller, six-pack operation. Bill and Cindy are the greatest! I prefer this to the cattle-drive large boats like Low Key and Cruz Bay.
