REnt a car or take the local buses while you're there. Taxis will kill your wallet there! Plus - be wary of the automatic 15% tip added to your bill. Several waiters/waitresses couldn't care less about the service they gave you, as they knew this was already included!

I just came back from Grand Cayman yesterday so here are some of my deep thoughts about BWI

1.-In Grand Cayman rent a car is cheap. You can get one for 20-30 dollars a day. Gas is about 5-6 dollars a gallon. I drove to Rum Point and there are several boats that will take you there. The drive thru the island is worthy. Your own schedule, freedom, etc.
2.-Everything is expensive, so get ready to take a hit.
3.-Seven Mile beach is very crowded.
4.-Check out the HOTTEST bartender at Dexter. My god...
5.-I felt the Sandbar and Stingray city were OK. After diving in Little Cayman for 4 days.. errr.. Once in a lifetime experience.. would never go there again. :-)

I did the Sting Ray City dive with Resort Sports ltd. Loved it, don't miss it! I have spoken with people who have done the snorkel and the dive, they say the dive is far better. Do the dive if you can, but don't miss the stingrays even if you just snorkel.
