Any experience with "Bahama Divers" Nassau?

We're doing a disney vacation in May for disneydaughter's graduation, and plan on a 3-day disney cruise during the trip. we'll be going to Nassau for a day and would like to get a dive or two in. we know about Stuart Cove's, but there's another operator "Bahama Divers" that we're looking in to. anyone had any experience with them? we're not too keen on SC, we've been reading a lot of bad reviews..........

Bahama Divers.

Yeah... Very nice folks there. One of the DM's, Roscoe, was a lot of fun to dive with.

Although not as polished and "flashy", I like them MUCH better than Stuart Coves. Stuart Coves was fun, but a little too "commercial" for me. That being said, I'd dive with both Bahama Divers AND Stuart Coves again..... just to see both sides of the Island.

If you dive with Bahama Divers, Be sure to tell them Captain Ron Tinnick says, Hello!

(Ron is one of my regular dive buddies, and was my OW and AOW instructor. He used to dive with them several times a year....... and we both live in central Indiana.)

Stuart Coves is fine. Nice folks, nice diving, no problems... but I like the feel of the mom and pop dive shops more. Stuart is a little more 'commercial' than than I like. But, as I stated above, I would dive with both operations again. It's nice to get the flavor of both sides of the island.

Bahama Divers is quite a bit closer than Stuart Coves from the cruise pier also. About 10 mins. by cab - they're right by the bridge to Paradise Island.

You might want to look at the dive excursion the cruise line offers. The only reason I mention this is, if there is a problem and you get back late, the cruise ship is not obligated to wait for you if you don't book thru them. I have seen many cruise ships leave the dock with people running after it.

Just a thought, have a nice cruise

And with the extra time you'll have, you can spend some time wandering the shops around Atlantis. Nice place to walk around.
