Has anyone been to Panama lately? - Scuba Forum

I used to dive there every month or so but have not been back since 1998 and was wondering what the diving was like. I would love to go back but I am married now

I'm not sure how that would go over!

I would like to know about diving there as well. My best friend has purchased land to build there and I will be traveling there as often as I can. I researched the web but there wasn't very good information. What have your past dives been like?

I haven't been back since 1999 but I bet its improved since then. I loved the Diving in Portobelo, Panama. SCUBA PANAMA is the biggest dive operation... or at least was back then... There are some great dives in that area and it was still relatively untouched by tourists.... well worth the trip, especially if you speak spanish... and if you don't I could offer my services!!!!
