Fantasy Island

I read somewhere that on the southeast of Roatan where FIBR and Cocoview are, its mostly about macro. I would like to agree with that. At least that's what I saw last week. But when we got there, it had been raining for about a week, it was overcast, and windy. The water was choppy and there was lots of surge and a strong current. Many dives we saw hardly anything at all, the sealife was hiding, and the water was churned up. At the greater depths, 50+ ft, there were little critters. And as the week progressed, we started seeing more fish as the water calmed and cleared, I saw the most eels than ever on any trip yet! But I actually like the little stuff that hides in the nooks and crannies. I'll try to post a few pictures of what I saw.

Cool! I had a great time there, without the weather inconveniences. I also saw tons of eels (even hunting during the night dive) and lots and lots of Macro.

It was really a great time!!! keep those pics coming!

Been twice to Cocoview, other than macro, on 1st trip-schools of Carib Reef Squid, turtles(lots), dolphin fish, dolphin(appatently the "free" dolphins escaped from Anthonys), huge barracuddas. 2nd, all the formentioned plus large schools of eagle rays, every dive on the Prince Albert!
Never had good weather while there, 1st Jan, 2nd May. Always very rough water, 2nd trip boats broke the moorings almost daily, and lowish (40-50') viz, and rain. Don't know when the diving is like the claims of clear, calm water
they boast, LOVE the diving and Cocoview!
