Robin I have not been wet since March when I was in Palau....I want to go somewhere relative close. MY first choice was Kirimati (Christmas Island) but they have no reliable flights. Second choice the Big Island diving with the Mantas but the rest of the diving is nice blue waters but not much in the way of Marine life anymore in Hawaii and lastly Cozumel which is as good as anywhere else in the Caribbean....but have not been there in Sept and wondering what the water temps are.

There are lots of places MUCH better. We were just there in March and so I speak from recent experience. We used to go there alot before we started trying new places, so we wanted to go back to see if it was as good as we remembered. It wasn't. Bonaire and Roatan are waaaaay better, so was the Bahamas on the Nekton. If you do go to Cozumel, try to go over to the mainland and dive the cenotes. Those are great and much more interesting. |
