Question Headed to Bermuda and have a couple of dives planned. Any tips?

We'll be visiting Bermuda, on an upcoming cruise in August. We'll be in port for 2 days, and I have 2 days of diving planned, with Dive Bermuda, (as was recommended by a member over at SB) http://www.bermudascuba.com/

We'll be travelling with the family,(wife & 17yr old son), who will be snorkelling.

Any tips on the island would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

I heard from a friend who stayed at the Fairmont Hamilton Princess that he didn't like their dive operator very much. I believe that's Dive Bermuda. He said they strictly limit your dive time. He also mentioned that you have to wade out to the boat, carrying your dive gear. When I went to Bermuda, I dove with Blue Water Divers. Sadly, they were pretty much the same, except that you can climb on to their boat from the dock.

The diving is generally shallow and easy. The historic wrecks are very beautiful. I think you'll have a great time. I found it a little cold. Consider wearing at least a 3mm. Also, take the divemaster's advice about weighting. Chances are you'll need more weight than you usually do.

Just noticed the date of your original question. I hope my post didn't come to late to be of any use to you. If you've already been, how did it go?
