4 hr layover in Grand Cayman - what to do?

Here's the deal with the Grand Cayman airport:

When you "deplane" and go through passport control and customs, you'll be "out on the street" and have to re-enter the airport to check in for your flight to Little Cayman. After that, you can go back outside and find the restaurant and observation deck.

If you go through security (and immigration - for no good reason), you'll end up in the waiting room with an overpriced bar that has a few mediocre and also overpriced sandwiches, some duty free shops and some vending machines. However, do get some free rum cake samples from the rum cake store!

Most of all, WHO CARES?? You're going to have such a great time diving off of Little Cayman that the airport wait and lousy food will be nothing.

When we were there it took us 2+ hours to get thru security for connection because another flight was late and their load was going through security the same time we were.
