Knife and shears
OK, this weekend I bought a pair of shears from ST. So now I have a small knife and a pair of shears. I made the purchase because I am considering diving in a low viz area that may have entanglements...
So here's my question: How many of you have ever used a knife or shears because you were entangled?

I just recently used my shears for the first time. I cut a fish off of a longline hook that was laid in a fish sanctuary. We also cut up and removed about 200 feet of the longline; as much as was present within the depth limits of that specific dive.
Good use of my cutting tool! ![]() |
