Question How to get all the water out from BC?

I have a question on how to wash BCs properly. I was told that don't store your gear unless it's completely dry. But I seem to have trouble getting water out completely from the BC bladder. I tried to drain water out as much as I could, until nothing comes out, but I can still hear some water swashing inside the bladder.

How do you get the last drop of water out, or are you suppose to? I'm just a bit concerned with molding.

Thanks!

My BCD gets washed then hung up outside (under cover) until dry - usually 2-3 days. If it's wet outside and the air is damp, I'll hang it up in the bathroom. Although that usually takes longer to dry than if it's outside. I'm a bit of a messy person though, so I don't mind having gear hanging up where needed if it needs to dry!!

Same,
I put some hooks in the ceilings in the garage.
Rinse BC, fill with air, Hang it upside down, with inflator at the lowest point.
Every couple hours hit the deflate , if needed add more air.

Completely dry in about 2 days. Bring in house, put it up in the closet.

I don't worry too much about the inside of the bladder. I do enough cleaning to avoid the science project in the bladder but probably never get it dry. After S/W dives, I flush it with F/W and drain the water out a couple cycles. When the outside is dry, I'll drain the insid eonce more (usually getting a few more drops out and surely leaving some in) and put it away. For a clean F/W dive, I usually just put it thru a couple drain cycles and don'r rinse at all. Six years and about 350 dive and I've had no problems. I pretty sure the relative humidity inside my bladder stays at 100%.

I basically do the same thing with my DSMB (safety sausage).

I do the same thing. Whenever I wash out the inside though, I remove one of the OPVs, and use a garden hose the really flush it out good. Then hang as in the above post.

adding air to the BC really does help to get every last bit of water because of the pressure.

when im done diving for the day i inflate my bc, shake it upside down, then hit the deflator button with the mouthpeice being the lowest possible point. i do this until all i get is a fine mist. then after i'm home and have everythign rinsed off i inflate my bc and hang it up on a pipe with the cumberbund so that the inflator hose is hanging down. After a day or 2 i give it a squeeze and the last few drops of water fall out.

Just buy a zeagle BC and when your done diving send it to Zeagle ( in care of Scott) and tell them somthing is wrong with it and they'll drain it for you . Just thank them for the warranty.

im thinking about putting hooks in the garage too... if the homeowners allow it (parents), and a corner to keep tanks... (something that i can lock, cause garage is open all day)

I am a fanatic. I have an Atomic SS1 attached to my Ranger from which I can attach a garden hose to and completely flush the inside out very well.

I wish I knew about that Zeagle "clean out my Ranger for free" warranty
