Since you own a giant shop you get to test pretty much every product out there and I'm sure price isn't an issue. What gear setups do you guys use?

They seem to like Zeagle, so I'd bet that some of it consists of their gear.

Oh heck... we don't dive! Don't your ears hurt when you go way down like that?

Yes... Joe and I really use the same stuff... because we can never take off together, so we have "our" set of gear. (Of course he has to let the cummerbund way, way, way out when he takes it! )

But my set up is a Zeagle Brigade, I use bio split fins, got a Aeris Elite computer (haven't switched to the VT3, as I'm going to scam the new HUD mask when it comes out) and reg, I've used a bunch. I really like the zeagles, atomic, etc, but one of my favs now is the Oceanic FDX10 http://scubatoys.com/store/detail.as...anicDeltaIVReg I like adjustable, I like the swivel.

I also have an apollo bio filter on the reg, and hate diving without it!

For an octo, I actually have an air integrated one... It was the Tusa, but I'll swap it over to the new Zeagle http://scubatoys.com/store/detail.as...ID=ZeagleOctoZ but I also carry a conventional octo also... the Mares Brigade (a dacor viper made for us since they dropped the product and I love it!) That gives me the most options in any situation.

So there you go...

I'll sit back and wait for everyone to tell me I'm not streamlined, need a 7' hose and a plate now...

Of course I always wonder how the DIR folks can harp on streamlining so much and then say losing one hose for an integrated octo doesn't matter that much. If that doesn't matter that much then neither does my computer that's hanging down from it's retractor!

I'll throw my flame resistant suit on now.

And don't forget that obnoxiously large sail we call a cummerbund! What with one of those and split fins, I don't know how I ever get 10 feet from the boat!

I've even been known to have my DSMB dangling from my left hip d-ring. Oh no, I'm going to die!

Man I wish I could trust myself with a HUD mask, I've lost too many masks to risk that kind of money! Maybe we could patent some kind of out of the way and comfortable mask lock that attaches to the BC.
