K, you said not a tank, reg or BC, and then you name your BC as what you would not dive without!

I also will NOT go on a dive without a BC! Hauling that tank about would be difficult at best!

SMB and a camera. I solo most of the time and even for those who don't, an SMB and the skill to use it is critical in my view.

Grapes, SMB, Crash Shears

<DIV>SMB well I have never had to use it, but it is nice to have.</DIV>
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV>Crash Shears, easy to use an not prohibited by dive sites.</DIV>

I guess I should have been a little more specific. I was trying to steer away from general SCUBA gear. I mentioned my Zeagle in reference to "I dont wanna dive any other BC".

I'm partial to the plan and the seacure mouthpiece. But also briefings before venturing into a new dive site. I like to know what to expect.

I would have to say my camera and small light. Whenever I have left one of these on the surface, I Always wish I had brought them....

<DIV>And I second the statement about if you don't have your camera, you will see the COOLEST stuff!</DIV>

SMB, Wetnotes, signal mirror and whistle. I don't want to be the next diver lost at sea never to be seen again.
